1. Who we are
Nurse Passport Inc. ("Nurse Passport", "we") operates a nursing credential verification and workforce mobility platform. Our registered address is 221 W 10th Street, Wilmington, DE 19801, United States. For privacy questions, contact Support@nursepassport.net.
2. Information we collect
- Account and identity data you provide (name, contact details, nationality, professional registration).
- Credential and verification data, including responses from nursing councils contacted at source.
- Eligibility and corridor data such as language test results, exam status and visa stage.
- Usage and device data needed to operate and secure the platform.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to verify your credentials, match you to roles and corridors you qualify for, support your relocation, operate the platform, and meet legal and regulatory obligations.
4. Your control over disclosure
Nurse Passport uses a tiered consent model so that you decide what is shared and with whom:
- Tier 1 — Public. A minimal, shareable summary you choose to expose, for example via a QR link.
- Tier 2 — Authenticated recruiter. Profile detail released to a verified recruiter only after you grant access.
- Tier 3 — Restricted identifiers. Sensitive identifiers released only under your explicit, specific consent.
5. Legal bases & your rights
Where the GDPR or comparable laws apply, we process personal data on the bases of consent, contract, legitimate interests and legal obligation. We design our handling of personal data to align with frameworks including the EU GDPR and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Subject to local law, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction of your data, and you may withdraw consent at any time.
6. Sharing
We share data with nursing councils for verification, with employers you have approved, and with service providers who help us operate the platform under appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal data.
7. Security & retention
We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data and retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described or as required by law.
8. International transfers
Operating global corridors may involve transferring data across borders. Where we do so, we use recognised safeguards and, where required, your consent.
9. Changes & contact
We will post updates to this policy here. Questions or requests can be sent to Support@nursepassport.net.
